While Aero Shade Technologies, Inc was formed only in 1998, it continued the design and manufacturing of the current product line which started in 1987 under the name of Dyna-Air corporation and, later, as Dyna Air Engineering Corp.
As a result, we can boast almost 25 years of experience if delivering quality products to the aerospace industry
Our first customer was Douglas Aircraft which needed cockpit sunshades for the then new MD-11 Trijet. After that our company was selected to design and manufacture the cockpit sunshades of the MD-90 series airplane which later became the Boeing 717.
From then on, the development of the company continued successfully until this date:
. selected by Embraer for their regional jets in 1994
. first cabin window shade designed for an OEM in 1999
. first sun visor designed in 2004 to replace failure prone Airbus A-320 OEM products.
